UTI Villarrica: Salud se desentiende de lapidario informe que revela negligente habilitación

Han pasado 25 días desde que la Superintendencia de Salud remitió a la ministra de Salud, María Teresa Barán, un informe de auditoría realizado en el Hospital Regional de Villarrica, donde se inauguró la UTI neonatal que fue inhabilitada en la misma semana. El documento revela las negligencias cometidas y que propició la muerte de un recién nacido. Pese al lapidario informe, el Ministerio de Salud se desentiende del caso. La ciudadanía y los gremios médicos, piden “la cabeza” de Barán.

Santiago Peña junto con la ministra de Salud, María Teresa Barán y otras autoridades, realizaron la inauguracion de la terapia neonatal el 20 de febrero. En la misma semana, el espacio fue desmantelado.

La investigación de la Superintendencia de Salud fue realizada por un equipo auditor conformado por 12 profesiones, entre médicos y abogados. El documento fue remetido el pasado 11 de abril a la ministra Barán, pero la cartera sanitaria se desentiende del tema y no ha emitido a la fecha una respuesta oficial al documento, que es lapidario.

UTI Villarrica: informe se presentó hace casi un mes

La semana pasada, ante el escándalo que suscito el informe que confirma que la terapia neonatal de Villarrica fue inhabilitada tras su pomposa inauguración, el doctor Saúl Recalde, viceministro de Salud y, Luis Velázquez, director de Control de Profesionales, Establecimiento y Tecnología de Salud, respondieron a regañadientes, afirmando a los medios de comunicación que la apertura de la UTI neonatal fue realizada “según las condiciones establecidas”, afirmando incluso que el lapidario informe no se ajusta a la verdad.

Las autoridades de Salud Pública afirmaron además, que está semana se emitirá una respuesta por escrito en relación al relevador informe.
